Thanks for your interest in the Campus Compact EnviroCorps program. Campus Compact EnviroCorps (CCEC) is the first nationwide AmeriCorps program dedicated to building capacity and strengthening campus-based, community-led environmental stewardship efforts. EnviroCorps works with colleges, universities, and their community partners to weatherize homes, organize nature conservation projects, and lead environmental education events in local communities. Combined, these activities help increase home energy efficiency, cost savings, and comfort; enhance access to clean air, land, and water; and increase knowledge and motivation to make a positive difference for the planet.

Directions: Please complete this application for the 2025-2026 service year for Campus Compact EnviroCorps. The service year runs from August 25, 2025 through July 31, 2026; however, we have six start dates within this timeline.


All applicants must meet the minimum requirements:

  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Must hold one of the following citizenship statuses: U.S. Citizen, National, or Lawful Permanent Resident
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to a host site area
  • Must pass a national service criminal history check
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license and car, and/or dependable transportation

Membership Status Defined
  • Pending Renewal: Previously active member with a renewal invoice for the current fiscal year. Applied at the start of the fiscal year to institutions active in the previous one. [Current FY dues are still due.]
  • Active: Member institution in good standing. Dues are paid and current.
  • Inactive: Non-Member Institution.
  • Lapsed Commitment: The institution committed to membership in the previous fiscal year, participated in a program for which membership was required (e.g. VISTA), but has not paid that year’s dues. Consult with the membership team before discussing membership or admitting to any member-required program.
