Membership Required
Section Description
This section includes relevant options (choice points) for programs that require membership for participation (e.g. VISTA, Newman, ESI, etc.).  Please review each part of this section, including decision-points, before continuing.

Decision Point 1: Does your program require membership in Campus Compact?

Group 1: Non-Member Institution (Membership Required)
Group 2: Non-Member Institution (Yes! I'm interested in Membership)
Group 3: Non-Member Institution (No! I'm not interested in Membership)
Non-Member Institution (Membership Required)
Field Description
This dialogue box has conditional formatting and will appear if the user inputs an institution that is not currently a member of Campus Compact. The "member status" field above will read "inactive" in this case.
Non-Member Institution (Yes! I'm interested in membership.)
Field Description
This dialogue box has conditional formatting and will appear if the user selects "Yes, I'm interested in learning more about Campus Compact membership".

Decision-Point 2: Do you want the user to be able to continue with the application if they are not a member but select "yes" (indicating their interest in joining)?
  1. If yes, keep the text below as is. It is your responsibility to reach out to the membership team to ensure they are a member before admitting them to the program.
  2. If no, remove the "please note that you may continue your application..." text below. And, add conditional formatting to the subsequent pages that require membership status = active to advance in the application.
Great News! Please click here to be rerouted to the Member Interest Form! Our Membership Team will follow up with you directly after receiving it.

Just to let you know, you may continue completing the form, but it will not be considered until your institution commits to joining and initiates payment of the membership dues.
Non-Member Institution (No! I'm not interested in membership.)
Field Description
This dialogue box has conditional formatting and will appear if the user selects "No, I'm not interested in learning more at this time."

Note: Add conditional formatting to subsequent pages so that they user cannot advance in the application if this option is selected.
No worries! We understand that it may not be the right time for your institution to join our coalition. Even though you can't participate in this program, a number of our events are open to non-members.

Sustained Conversation Groups (SCG) Sign Up
Sustained Conversation Groups (SCG) are peer-led and facilitated, bring together faculty, staff, and administrators, and normally run for 1-2 years. Participants commit to regular small group meetings to discuss topics of interest throughout the year. SCG discussions allow participants to learn from one another’s experiences and provide an opportunity to share resources while building relationships with others across the network.
  • Members can express interest in participating or co-facilitating an SDG.
  • We recommend members sign up for no more than one SDG.
  • Signing up for an SDG means committing to monthly meetings.
Please review the TRUCEN Programming Doc for detailed descriptions of each SDG.

  • Members can express interest in participating in a Network Action Group.
  • We recommend members sign up for no more than one SDG.

Express Interest in Hosting a Showcase Visit
Hosted by a TRUCEN member institution, Showcases were launched in 2023 to bring R1 campus teams together for deep dives on emerging topics, issues, or opportunities. Traditionally held over 2-3 days, they are intentionally flexible to allow campus hosts to design an experience that best addresses their interests and capacity. Please review the TRUCEN Programming Doc for descriptions of previous showcases.
