Thanks for your interest in the Higher Education Democracy Exchange (HEDx) project!
Led by Campus Compact and the American Association of Colleges & Universities (AAC&U), in partnership with Karsh Institute of Democracy and More Perfect, HEDx is a forthcoming, multifunctional virtual platform aiming to unite colleges and universities in advancing the civic mission of higher education, promoting democratic knowledge and engagement, and connecting civic learning to public problem solving across campuses nationwide.
The HEDx platform will comprise four elements that are currently in development , we will be seeking input from individuals interested in providing their valuable contributions to the project around each one.
The four elements are:
- Civic Experts Network to facilitate connections, coaching, and strategy building by providing access to a diverse pool of civic leaders and experts.
- Civic Credentials Clearinghouse to connect users to professional development opportunities that enhance their civic knowledge and marketable skills.
- Civic Indicators Dashboard that collates data from national and campus-level sources to illustrate higher education’s contributions to supporting and advancing democracy.
- Scaling Civic Innovation Resource Hub curating tools and resources designed to scale impactful civic and community-based practices.
We'd love to hear from you!
