Thanks for your interest in signing up for Campus Compact's student training platform.
Campus Compact is proud to unveil the Student Civic Leadership Learning Platform. Supported by the Lumina Foundation and powered by TalentLMS, this online, self-paced suite is designed to elevate premier student training practices from across the country for use on any Compact Member campus.
Built directly from what students told us they needed in the Student Design Fellows’ strategic vision — equitable access to high-quality leadership training — the Student Civic Leadership Learning Platform is a free, self-paced online platform shares best practices from leading campuses and nonprofits with students at any Campus Compact member institution.
The platform is launching this fall with five core modules requested by students and that are catering to student leaders of all levels:
Phase 1: Fall 2026 Course Launch
- My Leadership Style
- Professional Communication Skills
- Funding for Change 101
- Community Deep Dive
- Leading Effective Meetings
- Spring Expansion: An additional five courses are scheduled for release in the spring semester. The course release will be announced later this year.
- Credentials: Students will have the opportunity to earn formal course Credly badges and Talent LMS certificates upon completion, adding professional value to their civic leadership journey.
- Students who sign up will have access to all five courses for the semester. At the end of the semester, students who have completed the courses or are partially done will have the option to continue. Those who have not made progress will be unenrolled automatically to create room for new students to come in.
- Staff or faculty at member campuses also may sign up to see if any of the courses would be right for their students to sign up and take.
- Campus Compact is actively looking to elevate additional best practices and civic skill-based courses to share with our national student network of over 3 million students. If you have an idea or course already created that you would like to propose to develop (paid opportunity), please reach out to Will Brummett, Director of Student Engagement at Campus Compact, and Joanna Kenty, Campus Compact's Learning and Design Consultant for the student platform. They can be reached at wbrummett@compact.org and joanna.kenty@gmail.com
